I did "my part"... LOL
Thanks Kevin, for "keeping the watch"!
Ron, if you are interested, or any other "new" to the Hobby Members and Non-Members? You might want to buy some of the "Collector's Guides"... One can find used one's occasionally on Ebay and the Bookstore here is affiliated with Amazon and one can at times find used versions of the Guides.
The Mobil Collector's Guide will give images and sizes of signage (including the Pegasus), description and some images of cans, globes... etc... None of the "Guides" is current, as it relates to values... But, if one is looking for descriptions and images? IMO, the "Guides" are hard to beat... Some of them even have lists of repops and fantasy items that were current at the time the guide was written...
Which means they will have "older repops" listed in them ones from the late 80s to the early 2000s... Ones that a number of Members ask about on a fairly regular basis...
Looking for Tide Water/ Tide Water-Associated/ Tidewater items

Did my part..I think this is a great idea to start. When a member here sees an item that is surely fake list a thread in this fashion and we MIGHT be able to put a wrench in these guys payday to the point where they just might say forget it.
Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.
