They removed the makers name on bottom

If the seller is the one that did that, he pretty much wasted his own time....he states clearly it's a reproduction. Maybe someone before him did it??? I mean, why would you do that unless you were going to try to pass it off as a non-reproduction? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense....anyway, he's selling as 1984.
