Up early this fine spring morning....it's 27 degrees here....and hope everyone in Oldgasland has a good day despite the never ending winter and the fact that Uncle Sam has his hand out and is pointing his finger at you. I just try to remember that my taxes make it possible to live in the land of the never ending, ever growing, seemingly senseless,.......petro collection!

Yesterday was like 72. Today we flipped it to 27 and 3"s snow.
As for Uncle Sam, my checkS with a capital "S" are in the mail!!
Snow is actually kind of pretty though.

P.S. bought what will undoubtedly be the marque piece for my collection the other day. Can't wait to get it and post it in the BOTW!!

High 20s here too. Kind of a shock after we got used to mild Spring weather for the last couple weeks.

My taxes are done and sent in. Glad I'm not fighting the deadline like some folks probably are.

The picture below is a billboard on the outfield wall of Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. Notice the hospital's "You Belong Here" slogan. Really? They think everyone belongs in the hospital? What an uplifting ad campaign.

I had to pay in too, imagine that. I was really getting used to the spring weather. Now we are supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow! I hope it heads south...

Hello All,
As with many others, the turn in the weather this morning is quite noticeable. I actually had to scrape ice/snow off my vehicle this morning, when just a couple days ago it was 72 degrees. I would have to think this is winter's last gasp! I sure hope so anyways.....

Morning all! Darin, I sure hope you're right! We have had temps in the 30's since last weekend and we're scheduled to get snow tomorrow before it blasts on east towards Ryan! They claim we'll only get an inch or so, and then the warm weather will return this next weekend! Sure hope so!
I've been able to work on several small projects lately and its been great to get some of those nagging small projects out of the way!

Today our temperature is going to be dropping all day until it hits 29 sometime overnight. But the nice thing about being in the south is you wait a couple days and everything changes.

Tax day had always been a dreaded day, then I lost my Mom 3 years ago on April 15. So now it's a day that has a far different meaning to me. No longer is this a day I dread, but instead it is a day of remembrance and a day I can honor her. Thanks Mom for being a person your Son was never ashamed of and whose light will continue to shine through those you touched!

The weather much like others 72 yesterday 27 for low tonight. We call this dogwood winter here. Last cold snap of the season.

Afternoon all! Some paperwork,after a changeout,and now I'm not sure what. Taxes done,refund this year! Snow from last night,almost gone,warmer weather on the way again.hopefully it stays this time. Hagr8 evening!
