This sign is coming up for auction soon. I've never seen one like it. Does it look real to you guys? It is only 11" x 17". It does not appear to have a date on the front of the sign. Should there be any labels or dates on the back of the sign to prove it is real and not a repro?

Somebody used a 1990's tin repro sign and tried to make it look like something. Def NOT an old piece.

Looks misspelled "mobllgas"....the "i" needs some paint on the tube to separate the dot of the i.

...first thing I thought (red-flag-wise) was 'why make a neon sign that small'?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I think we all did. It's just too tight of a strain for neon and a waste of glass, a repro sign, time and money.
