Betting this one is FAKE. The first pic represents one from Louisiana that is real. There are several obvious differences once one looks with a critical eye.

Glad you posted this...looks like the "S" in Billups...and the "E" in Regular area WAY different...plus mounting hole areas/grommet sizes.

Seller says in another auction that he does/will make signs if they don't infringe on copyrights. However in this auction he does the old 'you be the judge' disclaimer dance. If this is a fake, it has a lot of characteristics of the labors of a very deceptive person who would probably ,when pressured, point out all those little differences that were made just so they could be pointed out by the maker.

I was going to offer to buy it now, but every time I looked at the damage, I got this funny feeling. Then I loooked at grommett placement, then... and then... and then...

In the bottom sign, the B,U,P and S in "Billups" is different than the lettering in the upper sign.

It looks as if they ran out of room and the last E in "Supreme" doesn't have the same angle in the bottom sign.

In the bottom sign, every letter in "Regular" is different than the corresponding letter in the top sign.

Looks to me like all the letters are different in someway but relatively close.

The one pictured above was the one on ebay from Louisiana. I meet the owner of this sign and found out he had three. I bought the best one of the three (not pictured) one went to California (Randy?) and one went to Ky (Franklin) who sold it again on ebay to another oldgasser also in California. also back is different. Notice that no one has placed a bid on a sign that sells in the range of $1700-2300.

Looks like another fake Billups sign has hit eBay. Doesn't appear to be same one that sold in May but has the same lettering.
