I was reading a thread in the archives about a fake Frontier Globe. Unfortunately because of the age of the thread, the link to the pic was dead. Someone said that a clue that the globe was fake was the presence of bubbles in the glass. I am wondering if everyone agrees with this statement.
I bought a Frontier globe about 5 plus years ago and it has bubbles. I was just starting out and I remember asking knowledgeable globe people here about the bubbles before I bought it. I was told that the bubbles are normal and that it was an original because it had never been re-popped.
Any thoughts? I can post a pic, but if the bubbles definitively determine it to be a fake, there is no need.
Thanks,
John
