I’m working on my first 10 gallon Mae West pump and am nearing the finish line, but am struggling with getting the guage markers attached. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to install them properly?

Thanks for the help

Trying to remember how I did mine, I believe I installed them on the tube with heat shrink underneath the top tab to keep them from falling down, was easy and worked well. In that position the heat shrink is mostly hidden behind the tag. Not sure why I didnt use clear heat shrink. Personally I'm not a fan of hot glue. If its a patina pump, could use a little solder.
