Are the tops of the Southwest 52-1 pumps chrome or stainless steel? I see them referred to as “chrome tops” and some references to stainless steel.

I do not recognize the model number but if your taking about the smooth tops that are about 12" square and 2.5" high, than the answer is stainless.

I am working on a similar pump but my top is stainless.
Picture is a rough view as top is not polished nor hose installed yet.
