How do you tell the difference from an original or a repro Red Crown pump plate ? I noticed a lot of them have 1954 date and also 1-48 on them. Thanks to all for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi Tom,
This has been discussed many times on here....a search of old posts should have turned up information pretty readily, but I was able to find two posts I participated in on the subject.

Thanks Darin ;

I appreciate you providing the links. I used to buy lots of stuff 30- 40 years ago but sold it to help put the kids through college 20 years ago. I started a few years ago getting some items again and most of my stuff I was fortunate to have gotten good info here to avoid the fakes.
Thanks again so much,
Tom
