This hobby is not as large as some people think. The closest thing we got to a television show was when Rick of American Restoration restored a ECO air meter.
The people who sell quality parts do so by inventing a lot of their own money sometimes having 100 pieces of one item made, then selling one piece per month. It takes a long time to recuperate your investment that way, this is why you don't see much wholesale business going on.

Yes, you won't find much wholesale. I tried getting a quantity discount from the big parts sellers here in the states, they all just laughed before saying no.
