I was thinking of taking up Vic 66's offer on the sale of the Tokheim 39 face plates and I noticed that they are not made with the bottom flange like the originals. I also checked Gas Pump Heaven and they are not made correctly either. I have 4 Tokheim 39s that I'd like to get the correct reproductions for. My question is, are there any Tokheim 39 reproduction face plates that are made correctly?
I have not seen any reproductions that have the flange at the bottom. If you must have that one you will have to find originals. It's not that the repos are wrong, it's just that they are made for a different spec 39. They are open at the bottom to allow light to get to the reflector for the ad glass. Since yours has a flange, I'm guessing your 39 does not have the ad glass. If you buy a repro, you won't see the difference when it's installed because the door will cover the open area at the bottom.

That is kinda what I thought. I guess if I need the bottom flange I can always make one and add it. Yeah, I don't think any of my 39s have door ad glass below the face plate. The bottom face plate flange is a nice finishing touch on these pumps.

My Tokheim Model 39 pump I'am restoring had come with the silver face plate that had the flange on the bottom. I ordered a set of white face plates (Vics 66) and you are correct they do not have the bottom flange. Ron who is on this site sells the silver face plates with the flange.

Funny you mention this. I ran my inventory and discovered I have a silver clock face version in my supply. Thank you for the heads up.
