Looking for some help. Have a Veeder Root I've cleaned and lubed. One side reads (incorrectly) exactly 10 cents higher than the correct side. I've taken one of these apart before so looking for tips before I tear into this one.
Whoever rebuilt it must not have had the correct gears in duplicate with them. ,,, or it's intentional for making a little xtra $$ back in the day.
Does it always stay at .10 above or does the gap widen as you pump more??
I played with it a lot this weekend and its an intermittent fault. 19 out of 20 resets the dials will match each side, but every now and again its 10 cents off exactly one side.
Does computer reset to zero on both sides on start up ? Does 3.3 times per gallon price equal $4.90 or $5.00 ?
