Picked up this 6-55 Tokheim 300 recently and it appears to have several coats of paint on it. I would like to strip it down to the original blue, has anyone ever used oven cleaner to gently strip the paint down to the original? Also could anyone determine what company this pump was for originally? The sides appear to be dark blue and the one door I have looks to have been white originally? Thanks.
