I am new to this and I am restoring a Martin Schwartz 80. I removed the original motor and pump etc. I would like to install a motor to drive the vedeer root. When I run the vedeer root with my drill, the drill has to be in reverse to make the vedeer root work. I believe this is because the gear train is still attached. From what I have researched I believe I need a 80 rpm motor that turns counter clockwise. This being because the gear train is still attached. I would greatly appreciate and all advice. Thanks

Here is a link to the gearmotor I've used numerous times. Dayton Gearmotor Years ago, I came up with a mounting plate that utilized this gearmotor to drive the Veeder Root. This plate design has been copied and now plate, motor and coupling sold in kit form by someone here. I still have a stack of the plates somewhere. LOL
