Does anybody now the history or study the Mobil gas Economy run around 1954-57
I believe I have some interesting history on it. Thanks for any info.

Hi ... Have a lot of information on the 1954-1957 Economy Runs (which has been an interest of mine for over 60 years now!) and have written a book on the history of the Economy Runs (The Mobilgas Economy Run by Dave Hermanson) that is currently available at Amazon and other sites. Lots of detailed information in the book as well as numerous photographs. Always looking for additional items for my collection as I am missing some detailed technical information for these years.
June-July, August 2009 and October 2009 - Gilmore-Yosemite Economy Runs and Gilmore Grand Canyon Economy Run
December 2009 - Mobilgas Economy Runs 1950-1968
The Gilmore era predates the Mobilgas Runs and the Gilmore Run articles are some of the best overviews written (very little has been written about these previously) before the publication in 2014 of my Economy Run book. All are well written by D. L. Cole in my opinion.
