Can someone tell me when Texaco starting using the "black tee" logo please?

So does the plain green tee predate the black tee?

If you mean the T without the black trim? That came after the black T....

I asked this same question when first in the hobby back in 2012. Doug (black tee) comments 1935-1936 in this thread.
Although the thread drifts off subject some, other Texaco experts chime in with some good info as well.
