I got a few replies on this sign a couple years ago, but the seller & I couldn’t come to common ground on a price, he has contacted me with a fair price recently. Just wanted to get some opinions, good or bad before I pull the trigger!! I know they repop this one, or one similar. Sooo is it real? What year? And what do ya think a fair market value would be? There is no pole, or base, just the ring.Thanks chris

First off let me say that I am by no means a sign expert. But, I have one of these signs that I have had for eons and am sure is real. I know there were some variations, mine says "Ask For" at the top instead of "We Sell". Mine is approximately 16 3/4 x 22 and has a date code and date at the bottom in small print on both sides (mine says 5024 A-M 11-51). I notice this sign doesn't have that. Mine also has four holes punched around the perimeter instead of the two at the top. All this just for your information, not saying it proves a thing. Good luck....GB

Thanks for your input rabbit man! Anybody with the we sell wolf’s head hav any input? The few I have seen only have the 2holes, & no date code?? Maybe they are repo? If my old buddy Wes Nielsen waz still around he would know for sure! RIP Wes.

Anybody else have a we sell wolf’s head sign? That has 2 holes? And nooo date? The only match I can find is the one Speedracer posted in the wanted section, under wanted lollipop signs. If I can’t get a consensus I will probably pass on it, don’t want to get stuck with a reproduction!! Thanks chris

So of the 3 2hole signs I’ve seen, they all have a date at the bottom, the one I’m considering purchasing doesn’t..... was there a time period where they stopped dating these wolf’s head signs? Is there anyone besides Steve that has a 2hole undated one of these? Or is the OP leaning toward it’s a repo? The sign hanging ring looks spot on for the ones I’ve seen, but no date has me questioning this sign. Thanks again chris
