Just got my order from Jack on Wednesday. All three were autographed....nice touch. I have to say that this is the best reference to this hobby that I have seen to date. I have used all of Jacks previous books and still do. This volume has so much more in pictures and insight. I, for one, really appreciate what Jack has done for the hobby. It is overwhelming to think of the time and labor to achieve these results......not to mention the outlay. If I could, I'd like to give him a Gold Star.....like the ones we got in grade school for outstanding work. Great job sir. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Received my Bible today and can't tell you how much I appreciate your hard work on this. And to have you take the time to sign it, that is off the hook! THANK YOU Jack.

I haven't done anything since I came home from Iowa except pack books. As of yesterday's mail, every book that was ordered has been sent. Since our mail comes late in the day, we should be able to have the book on the way to you the next day if you have ordered.

Guys, both Cindy an I thank you all for your purchases.

Cindy said if I started another book she would divorce me, as I told everyone at Iowa that sounds like a "win/win situation," but I do have a few ideas.

Thanks again,

Jack

Thank you Jack, no need to thank us. We love your books and they get better each time. I bet this one sold more copies in the beginning than the other two.

I got mine & seems valued of pumps hav went down..... I know I would buy any and al pumps in the book at those prices (except the big display pumps) there out of my price range. But a Wayne 60 valued at $2k & 60 clockface like $2300, or a Bennett 77 for $1800. So if u have any at those prices send me a pm. Chris

I dont think the wayne 60 price is all that far off, if at all. Pump prices have been on the downward trend for the past few years.

I think the wayne 45 took the biggest drop instantly on the same page, 8500 to 4500.

I thought all the clock faces had a low value, hopefully I can show the pump owners the book and buy them for the prices from the book? and Ryan u probably sold everyone around u a pump dtivin down prices in deluth? But there goin strong here!!

Imho, anything you own is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I am purchasing the book to learn about the history of gas pumps, I understand that people who own certian pumps may have a higher regard than someone wanting to purchase it, as I own a 34 tokhiem with display doors I don't want to sell because I like it, but have been told it's worth 3500....but to me I've been offered wayyyy more than that and decided it's worth more to me to keep it, I will pay anyone out there 3500 all day long for more of them...but I think the book for me is gonna be a reference so I can learn about different pumps and the rarity, not for prices thanks...Gary

Two years ago if a pump was listed on craigs list, ebay, here, or on facebook, it would get snapped up right away. Now, I am seeing pumps listed for sale at reasonable prices and they are not selling. There were a bunch of pumps at Iowa for sale this year at prices lower than in the past few years and they were not selling very good.

2 weeks ago I posted a nice Wayne 60 on here for sale for 2k which is what the new book values it at. 2 years ago I would have gotten a little more for it.

Roller nozzles seem to have taken a hit as well. Last few that I have seen sell have barely sold for over 700.00. 2 years ago they were bringing north of 1k.
