I have a double sided sign what seems to be 60" metal sign. Can anyone help me identify if this is an original or reproduction.?>>

That's what we thought it was too especially with the "patina" and purchased it as a porcelain sign but then it somewhat scratches easily.


So would you say they did not make any metal signs ??

what you have there is a porcelain sign - of this oval version I'm not aware they ever made a tin version,
they did make tin signs advertising united motors -
haven't seen too many of the 5' & 6' oval versions .. ...

I have this one, I think there are 4 other signs that are more graphic like this for other services they provided. This one is 45" X 25" tin with a metal frame.

So is it porcelain over metal?? Theres no manufacturer stamping, should i be worried??'

oh and it only has two mounting holes at top of sign, would you say this hung under another sign since theres only two holes???
