I collect unrestored gas pumps and like to tear them down to replace all broken or missing parts and make sure they light up. I have always topped them off with a reproduction globe. I think this stems from the fact that when I started collecting I had two young children and I was never comfortable spending money on original globes that might break. I've actually had at least two globes lenses break (a 13.5" Capco and 15" high profile steel), while mounted on gas pumps, for no apparent reason.

It seems that all of the vendors that use to sell reproduction 15" bodies are out of stock and have been for some time. Does any one have a source for these bodies or know when they might be available again. The vendors I have talked to don't appear to know when new stock will be available.

Thanks,

Marshall

Thank you for all of the suggestions. Unfortunately Petro Nuts and Mike Salam are both out of the 15" metal reproduction globe bodies. Hopefully more will come on the market latter this year.

Why the shortage?

Because it seems Mike is out of them. There is no end to the need for them as on pumps and just decor. I know I needed 15 as decor. I am sure they are coming.
