Anyone have a photo of the drain back lid spring? I saw it listed on the 519 parts diagram. There is a notch on the top of the lid "arm".

Any suggestions on where to purchase a 1.5" diameter black rubber ball to attach half of it to the bottom of the drain back lid? I reached out to Ron Scobie to see if he has one. I also reached out to the person in Iowa that reproduces the drain back fitter and it has the rubber stopper or seal. I have the deteriorated rubber stopper. I considered dipping it into the can of liquid rubber that is available at HD and Lowes.

Hi Joe, you can buy rubber balls from McMaster Carr. Here is a link.

Good luck on your restoration.

Thank you Randy. I purchased a 2" diameter neoprene ball and some fasteners from M-C. I would have to have a custom torsion spring made for the drain back lid. Very expensive and I don't need a spring that bad.
