Anyone have any history or information on this company? Value of the sign? It is a neat piece and in great shape. Heavy sign with heavy porcelain.

A man by the name of Sigfried Moore (Sigmor) operated a chain of Midway stations mostly in Texas. This chain was later bought by Shamrock Oil and Gas. This may be the same company as your pump plate. I've seen these go in the $400 - $500 range in the last few years.

Your info would make sense as I have also seen this sign with the wording "Sigmor" replacing I beleive the Superior wording. Never knew what Sigmor meant. I would agree on the pricing possibly a little higher.

Thanks for the info guys. I just bought this at an estate sale in Iowa but I think it was bought at IG in 1981 according to a sticker on the backside by the previous owner. I had never heard of Midway and this explains why.
