Several months ago I contacted Joe about rebuilding my Sunoco custom blended computer. He told he had never did one and it could cost quite a bit of money.Considering that it had 16 large wheels and 54 small price wheels I could see why.I then decided to try a cosmetic restoration because it had nothing wrong with it mechanically. After 2 month of all my spare time these picture are the results. This thing has over a thousand parts. Thanks

Dave ,I only removed the wheels did not take it completely apart.I used Easy Off oven cleaner to clean it.

You did a great job, looks excellent.

Did you replace the white plastic cylinders/tubes above the pricing wheels? They are usually yellowed and brittle from the effects of UV rays/sunlight.

Yes, I made the tubes from aluminum tubing.I made plugs for the ends from wood and used 3/8 id tubing and bronze bushings for the rod to ride on.The factory ones were junk.
