A simple effective fix for faded signs - Sat Mar 16 2013 09:08 PM

I've been using Howards Feed n Wax for several years on some real faded signs with great results, It is for furniture but see for yourself the results. Just wipe it on and let it sit for 20 minutes and wipe off the excess, I have a couple signs I did 3 years ago and they still look like the day I did them, They do not feel Oily either.

Yes but the only problem I find is the residue attracts dust & dirt.

I have had that problem with other products but this stuff does not leave that oily film.

I've found that Formby's or Liquid Gold also work really well....same type of product. Just be sure to buff it off good.

Home Depot in the Paint Dept..not the wood finish dept..go figure. Took me two trips to find it. Dave
