SORRY I HAD TO JUST SHARE MY EXPERIENCE
It is still over 3.50 here. but one can only hope.
$3.37 HERE AS OF YESTERDAY. OIL BARREL PRICES ARE DROPPING, SO IT COULD BE EVEN LOWER TODAY!

Gas Card =$0.00
1 of the perks of using my truck @ work !
Wife paid $3.579
In the southeast we are just getting back to having gas.....
These folks are NUTS!!!!!!!Did anyone see the lines on the news? Fights, yelling, etc.
I can just imagine the chaos if the grocery stores ran low!!!!
Still getting raped here....$3.77
It was up to $4.50 last week.
I filled up both trucks before the spike, and made it through.
THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD !!!!
When is anyone going to admit that the world is overpopulated? With everyone looking for an answer to "GLOBAL WARMING" it is strange no one has addressed this FACT.
HMMMM.....less people, less co2 emissions....DUH !!!!
MY 2 BIG CENTS
Nobody wants to admit we have too many people, because population control is unpopular. It is overpopulation that makes out area more expensive and has eliminated most of the great old collectables.
Went from 3.39 to 3.29 from my earlier post.
See- it worked. Now we think were getting a bargain when we "only" pay 3.00 a gallon.
I am glad that I am just days away from my fuel costing nothing as I am cranking it out myself at home.
But what has the process cost to make your own ?
Can you carry enough to make a long trip ?
ITS NOW DOWN TO $2.89 AND HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
It only costs my time as I am using palm seeds as the feedstock, and gathering used cooking oil. My other project is gasification of old tires, or biomass to produce gasoline. As long as I have a source for free waste I can drive. For long trips I can either seek out local restaurants or use the wood powered van with waste wood. But I have older cars so their engines are very forgiving. Most of my trips are within 40 miles of my home so I can fill my tank with my backyard pump.
You have my attention. I have a '95 explorer that i love that, if possible, could be made to run on homemade fuel.
In sweden we pay 6,84 $ for one US gallon, we would love to have your price on it..
Yesterday it started at 277.9 per gallon and ended up at 274.9. Haven't been out today to see if it has changed again. Just hope other parts of the country also come down likewise.
Update, down to 268.9

All stations in town now selling regular for 251.9.
Forgive me for being cynical but it seems like just before election time sorta to me.
$2.77 here just 6 blocks away from my house. And I think it is going to keep going Down Oil is down to what it was 13 months ago. Now if oil would just stay there and the DOW would go back up the 5500 points that it is down from one year ago!!
Jason @ Esse's Garage
The best price I have seen in Seattle is 3.29 for regular and 3.59 for diesel
Well, if you come south of the James River, gasoline really does cost a lot less. I found regular gasoilne for $3.09 at a WAWA station on U. S 60, Midlothian yesterday
Paid 3.15 here in Lafayette LA. Wonder why it costs more here where it is refined??? makes no sense to me.
We just returned from a 7000 mile cross country trip. We paid $2.89 in Arkansas and then, just outside Branson, Mo $2.69. Mostly in the $3.39 to $3.69 area.
It went down to $2.49 here today, sure makes me wonder why our wonderful leaders can not have anty more control on things than they do. I won't say where I think Bush has his head but I sure hope there is room for our next leaader to join him. I bet you can bank on more of the same to happen in the future. We'll just see where gas prices go after the election.
Until we start using an alternative fuel source in great quantities, oil/gas prices will continue to rise. Less demand is the only thing that will bring the prices down.
Was 1.059$ / liter here earlier this week here in Montreal area. (that means +or- 4$ a gallon).
Today.... surprise! just jumped 10 cents higher.
How can you explain that?! Oil is going down and they are finding ways to still boost their prices...
Sorry to bring this back up but about 30 miles north of the Twin Cities its $2.26 and know one has woke me up from my dream yet.
This is what I use to call a wet dream.
Paid 2.89 yesterday to fill the car saw lots of gas for 2.95 and 2.97 here Jack
$3.12 yesterday morning, $3.089 6hrs. later same station.
I filled up today for $2.279.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081024/ap_on_fe_st/odd59_cent_diesel this is the second time i have seen a news thing like this behind the chedder curtain in the last three weeks
When I got home from the Peotone show I was surprised to see that gas had droped 28 cents over the weekend and was now selling for 197.9. How far can it go?
Probably going to be short lived, OPEC is meeting with the probable outcome of reducing output = higher prices.
I finally saw gas drop below $3.00 a gallon here in California. On Saturday I filled up at $2.89 a gallon in Santa Rosa at Rotten Robbies.
Hi,
Here in New Zealand it has gone down from about $2.05 a litre to $1.82 a litre in the last few weeks (1 gal = 3.785 litres) approx $6.88 a u.s gallon...
$1.99 per gallon in Kansas City, MO today and still dropping. Come around Thanksgiving when people have to travel and the election is over the top brass will make up some excuse to spike the price. For now I'm not complaining.

filled er up at 2.59 today just over the state line.kinda nice livin on the border of the chedder curtain!!!(no offense to all my wi friends)
$1.97 in OKLAHOMA CITY!!!!
Diesel is $2.92!!
So I thought this all revolved around supply and demand ??? Guess the world has cut it's comsumption/demand by 50%... Can anyone explain this me?
$2.17 in Ann Arbor, Michigan
2.39 here today where will it end???
$1.87 per gallon in Kansas City, MO today. It was $1.99 Monday. A $.12 DECLINE in 3 days. I think were seeing history being made, enjoy it while it lasts!
------------------
I think I'll take a pump hunting road trip this weekend at that price!
------------------
.90 cents per litre here today,,, that relates to approx. $3.60 a US gallon.. The oil companies got us tricked,,, now we think .90 cents a litre is cheap,, earlier in the year they had it up as high as $1.40 per litre and that relates to approx.$5.60 per US gallon.. You guys in the USA got it made at $1.89 per gallon.
It is nice to see the prices going down but I predict the gas prices will stop lowering November 5th. I'm still riding my bicycle as much as I can.
