i got some lens awhile back and have been on the hunt for bodies and have a few now looking for a mobilgas paint code in ppg or dupont for my 16.5 body

Even if you get a code out of a book the paint is not made with the same material and will not match,plus the manufacter used several variants over the years.I used a Sunoco code out of the book and it was not even close to what I wanted.Your best bet is to have it color scanned at the paint supply store or body shop.If you have a lens or pump plate or whatever your trying to match they will get it right.I've done it on several pumps.
