I bought this Gulf Rapidayton a couple months ago, and I'm looking for the correct top for it. I'm interested in any of the step tops(painted or chrome). I believe the other companies that Gulf had ordered to make would fit too like Bennett, Gilbarco, etc.

You are correct. The top for an Erie 129 will not work unless you cut off the tabs underneath near each corner and drill holes through the glob ring. These tops are stainless and worth more in original condition. The steel top from the shorter Erie farm pump also works but you would need to fill the holes on on each corner and drill news ones through the glob ring. Hope that helps.
