I'm looking for ANY items from this company, but especially interested in buying this globe or single lens. Also interested in any signs , cans or anything else with this logo. Thanks
Dennis it looks like they built that station to the exact spec's of that advertising piece/brochure or what ever it is...mm
...the photo shown above and the photo used to create the engraving on the advertisement were very possibly taken at the same time of the same station...the quality of the photograph leads me to believe it was taken to be used for advertising purposes by the company...
Here is another photo. Looks like they were very cool stations!
Thats an awesome looking globe good luck
Are you against reproduction globes? (just to have something until you find the real thing)
Dated, Reproduction Lenses are certainly do-able . . .

IF it ain't REAL, Dennis don't own or want it.
Oh come on Dick . . . it'd be 'real' - just not 'real old'! LOL

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave something desirable alone.
There is enough of that FAKE JUNK already
Maybe I should change the title of this post to "I'm looking for this ORIGINAL globe". Reproduction globes that are marked certainly have their place in our hobby, but in this particular case, I am looking for an original globe.
FAKE, verb, noun, or adjective - depending on use
–verb (used with object)
1. prepare or make (something specious, deceptive, or fraudulent): to fake a report showing nonexistent profits.
REPRODUCTION, –noun
1. the act or process of reproducing.
2. the state of being reproduced.
3. something made by reproducing an original; copy; duplicate: a photographic reproduction; a reproduction of a Roman vase.
I don't make 'fakes' - I make 'reproductions'. No 'deception' involved in anything I do - everything is dated.

I believe Dennis posted looking for an original globe. If he wanted a fake i am sure he would have asked T-way. I am not betting man but i would bet Dennis will never have or want a reproduction made.
I don't think we need to get into another reproduction vs Original battle. Everyone on oldgas knows where everyone stands on that topic.
Let Dennis have his thread back looking for his original globe.
I agree Jarvis. There's been enough discussion on that particular topic! LOL
I hope somebody finds one of these original globes or at least a nice single lens. It's a great looking image.

Where was this company originally located?
Joey
I don't own this map, but something to look for if you don't already have it:
Thanks for the map pic Alan. I would love to own this map! If anybody has one for sale or trade I would be very interested. Also any cans with this logo.
No luck yet. I'm still looking. Anybody?????
