Is their a difference between wide and narrow body globe rings.

You know, I am not sure. This is the first narrow body I have ever owned. I think on gas pump heaven they have both wide and narrow it it is the globe ring that goes down to the site glasses. Anybody else know for sure? Todd.

The FANCY Globe holder that is made for the WIDE Frame will work on a Narrow Frame w/ a bit of work & removal of the tips that rest above the Site Glass hood.
Will not be a BUY & INSTALL item as it is for the wide frame.

Thanks Dick. So does that mean the basic globe rings for wides and narrows are a bit different?

Narrow bodies from factory only came with the plain globe holder. Wide bodies were available with both the plain and the fancy cast globe holder.

All the Narrow frame globe holders I've seen are the Flat Bottom ones bolted on. The Wide frame had either the Flat Bottom, Curved Bottom or Fancy Holders.
