Help,
Who does a decent job of repainting signs....museum quality NOT needed....just decent. Not trying to hoodwink anyone, but I have one that was used to hold cement for laying bricks and it had faded out. Dave

Dave, have you ever thought of hitting that with a rattle can clear coat job? I did it to a Phillips 66 Shield once and it really brought the colors back out in it. It's probably worth the couple bucks it will cost you. You could always strip the clear coat of if that sign is Porcelain if it doesn't work. But I would give it a try if it is for outdoor use.

Great minds think alike. lol The first thing that I did was wet it and some of the colors got brighter, but the cement actually took a lot of the color out. Dave

Howard Feed n Wax, It will bring back the shine from the dullest of signs. Look online to see where it is sold by you, usually at antique stores where they refinish.

I'll pick some at Home Depot tomorrow and do 1/2 the sign and show the results. Thanks for the response. Dave
