This is a light socket from my Erie 53 and its the same one that would be found on an Erie 753. I could sure use one if anyone has an extra laying around???
Kevin I threw a couple away a couple weeks ago when my basement got flooded. Now I wish I would of kept them. Threw a lot of stuff out when that happened!!!!
I just had a gentleman call from out in New York that has a couple that are just parts, but maybe pieces of them are salvageable? NEVER throw any gas pump parts away! These Erie light sockets are VERY hard to find and most guys just use a new socket, but with the quality of the restoration that I'm doing, I'd like to stay all original!
OK--Heres what I have and what they look like apart. I can use partial ones for parts, or comlete ones that are damaged, or even nice complete working units. Anything you might have that looks like these pieces!
Thanks Jim, I bought one of those from you a couple years back and it was fine for the lightshade I used it on, but I am looking for original pieces to complete an old original pump.
Getting close to needing another light socket to finish this pump! If anyone even has pieces of one laying around, I might be able to make up one with the parts that I have!! Theres GOTTA be one out there somewhere!
Down to the wire! These were used on several different old Erie pumps and maybe others? Even if you have one that's in pieces, maybe I can make one from all the parts!
