It has been my experience that Johnson Oil items are not the easiest to find. But, it has become much easier since the "net has opened so many new avenues in which to search.

Johnson Oil/Brilliant Bronze: is a great small regional Company, with some great history and items, IMO...

As Bob mentioned , it's REGIONAL !

Second , Johnson was absorbed by Standard oil of New Jersey. They're the GIANT Exxon- Mobil corp today. Another thing to remember , Johnson had GREAT graphics. A lot of "Collectors will collect ANYTHING with a lot of Art- work in it !

Back in 2004 when it was the COTM, there was a lot of great info about Johnson and the family who had run it. I just wish that all the pics were still up. I know that some items are on the expensive side, might be cheaper to change my last name to ARCO..lol.

Couple cans I saw today that my one friend has for sale. The cans look better in person, bad cell phone picture but they do have some dents and buggers on them. I think the round one is a 25 pound size and it felt like it was still full.

Don't worry Rabbitman, I checked it over good before sending it out, lol!

I check it everyday hoping the gas fairy leaves one in there for me! Haha.....

Are you just looking for Johnson Oil Co. items only?... or anything oil/gas/automotive with the Johnson name?

I have 3 old wooden gasoline gauges, from a Riverside Ford Dealer- JOHNSON MOTOR CO. I was going to list on ebay at some point. I have 2 of the bottom one...

I will take the $25 one and one at $15 if other member passes. That dealer was very close to me. Thanks

I recently was able to buy this 48" Johnson sign, not in the best shape but going to look great hanging up in the shop. Most important I made a great new friend in the process.
