I'm looking for a 15 inch, high quality, possibly NOS, metal frame globe body for some NOS lenses that I just bought! It can be either high profile or low profile.
An original finish NOS body would be the best I could expect and I know they are out there, its just a matter of finding one for sale!!!
Thanks--KEVIN

That is 15", BUT far from HIGH QUALITY. PITTED & Rattle can spit job.

Ok, lets define "high quality"!
The globe body I'm looking for would have to be "New Old Stock" to be absolutely perfect, but one with original paint, no damage , and very minimal prior usage would be acceptable!

Color preference?

If I start with a color preference, I'll probably never get one, but most globe bodies were basic colors, so I can waltz around that part!

Still looking? Anyone have one they would part with if they got "too much money" for it?

I have one the one I picked with the standard gasoline I sent you a pic of the other not sure if that would work for you? It is probably worth more as is with the one lens in it.

I don't think red will work for it Scott. I have 2 NOS Tydol "TWO" cast lenses, and I think a basic color like black or white or brown, would be best! Another old Gasser offered upm his NOS yellow body, but we talked it over and we just couldn't see putting these lenses on a yellow body.
I shouldn't worry about color, but these lenses deserve a really nice body to display them. If all else fails, I will get an average one and repaint it until the great one comes along!

Had a couple leads but they didn't pan out, so I'm still looking for a really nice 15 inch globe body!
I'll even pay "TOO MUCH"! LOL

I've bought complete globes just for the bodies, then sold off the unwanted lenses. Have you considered doing that? It might be the easiest way to get the globe body you're looking for.
