If you ever wondered if pump companies worked together take a look at this. The first one is from a Tokheim 39 parts manual and the second one is from a Bowser 585C parts manual. Look a similiar don't they?

I'll bet that the instructions were distributed by the glass company that supplied flat glass to the pump companies in Ft. Wayne, Ind. [WAYNE, TOKHEIM & BOWSER]. It had to be cheaper to buy glass, than to manufacture their own. Same with the auto industries, they don't make tires.
