Hi everyone, New to this fine website and have some questions pertaining to this old clock, Thanks in advance, Rob.
What year is it from?
What do you think the value is?
Is there a place to get a new lens, it’s 15” in diameter ?
Is it more desirable to restore or leave it alone? It works great the way it is.
Unsure if this will fit.

In 2016 a almost mint one sold for $4000. I was thinking $400 lol
Think the "Eye it..." was a saying in the 40's.
And I would leave as is. Maybe swap the glass. Don't paint, in my opinion.
by largest patent # this clock dates too early 30's .. ...
I would try and find a replacement glass and then leave it alone. Nice Clock... Jim
Hi guys, thank you for responding to my questions
Donovan, I had no idea of the value, like you, I was thinking maybe three or $400. Also, thanks for the link to the glass lens, I think that will work.
Randy, thanks for putting an approximate date on it.
I never would’ve thought of that, looking at the patent date and numbers. I’ll have to remember that.
I think I am going to leave the clock alone and just replace the glass. Again, thank you for the help,Rob.
Jim, I think that is what I’m going to do, replace the glass and that’s it, Rob.
