Hi, I just picked up a DX Diamond globe lens at auction. I can't seem to find an original online. I Paid about $160 when all was said and done. Is this a pretty rare lens? How did I do?

Hi a little more data here. Since the insert has no notches and D-X did not use Gill frames it went on a Banded glass frame which D-X did use a lot. I sell the complete globes for $500 in good shape both inserts with the frame. But you need a frame and that will cost you at least $400 for a banded frame if you can find one. The inserts by themselves do not bring much and are not that scarce in the Mid-West. Nice globe though I've always liked this one...Scott Benjamin gasglobes.com
