I'm on the way to Iowa Gas and a friend told me about an auction in B.F.E. Kansas today so I thought I would check it out. I had no sooner got my bid number when I met "Gas Pump Rob" there. Great guy! He left Cali with an empty truck and trailer and already had 4 pumps and the bed of his truck was FULL of cans, display cabinets, etc.
I didn't buy anything at the auction. I think the heat got everyone crazy. I did pick up a nice but large 1960's CO-OP sign and a Standard porcelain letters sign both for $135 at an antique store after the auction so I guess it was a worthwile side trip.
