Thanks Mike, hope you're having fun and scored some cool pieces.
Thanks for the pics!
Ill start it off...
... anyone know who has the booth in the last 2 photos?
... they have the Willys and Chevrolet signs.
thank you
quality photography- thanks for keeping us posted .. ...
Mike, Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post!
I have a bunch more guys will post some more after tonight's room to room.
Sorry guys I don't have a clue on who's selling what as it's a big area with a ton of vendors so it's never easy on who's selling and where.
Thanks for the pictures Mike . I have to make another trip to the big show their. I didn't take enough money last time, LOL but I brought back some great stuff.
Gene
Thanks for taking the time to post all of the pictures. I have the show on my bucket list and have to go at least once!
Thanks for the pictures. The products shown look great. The weather looks tolerable too.
First show I have missed in years....Sure am missing it.Thanks for the pics
Vendors still haven't learned to put their names and cell#s on their set ups knowing the biggest gas and oil site always takes pic s.Would reach all that don't go.Would solve the problem of the ancient question of who has what.No brainer.
Thanks agin Mike, looks like there was a lot of nice stuff at the show. I have to get my butt back there.

we've gone over this before... it doesnt work. i put my name on my spot in peotone in 3 different spaces, yet the picture was still taken at an angle in which none were readable. that paired with the low-res of pictures hosted by OldGas, means its far from a no brainer
Wow, great pics Mike. Thanks for taking the time posting them.
Well, no offense, but the resolution looks fine to me. I can read every sign in every booth. If the person taking the picture doesn't pick up your name and cell phone #, that's another thing.
As I start adding the rest of my photos, I just want to say your welcome!!!
And to those that don't like that they don't know who's signs are who's, I have to say sorry but taking time to walk around and take these photo's, then resize everyone of them and attach 4 at a time takes a bunch of time so for me to catch a name and phone number in a booth would be crazy!
With that said here are the last of mine.
LAST ONE ENJOY!
Totally missed the point.Never asked you to get name and #.Vendor should put it on the front of the booth. If you should happen to get it in the pic fine if not it's their loss.
Great pictures Mike. Thanks for taking the time to post them.
Every single sign on my shopping list is apparently at this show, in triplicate, and I'm stuck here because of work with cash saved up to buy them...
I could ask about fifteen "how much was that sign" questions and drive everyone nuts!
Great pictures, I really do appreciate you posting them!!! Nice to see all the variety!
Not on my list, but out of curiousity, how much would that giant two piece porcelain shell sign set someone back? (Top of page 4 in this thread)
Wow. Thanks Mike. That was the best set of pictures Ive ever seen of Iowa. It looks really great! Gotta go some year- soon.
Mike,
Thanks a ton for all of the pictures. Couldn't make it this year and seeing all of the pictures sure is cool, so thank you.
As I couldn't make Iowa Gas this year and you couldn't get to Columbus. I guess we'll have to wait until next year to hang out and trade some beer (oh, and maybe some signs too).
Thanks again for taking the time to post, I always enjoy the pics of events I can't attend.
-Steve
WOW!!! Thanks so much for ALL the pics Mike!!
DAng, I've heard the venue isn't as nice as CTO, but holy cr@p the amount and quality of stuff is incredible!! I have to make the ride one of these years!
Okay, So typical question,
Anyone know who had this American globe?
Anyone know who had this Pennzoil sign?
Thanks for posting these Mike.
How was the room to room this year?
Thanks for taking all the pictures (and for the curds!)
It rained Thursday morning so things didn't get moving in the parking lot until 10am and a majority were packing up by 1pm
Pennzoil sign was Ron Hoyt's - the Iowa Gas show owner
I appreciate the pics too Mike! I'm very new to the collecting, but I was fortunate to be able to make it out there all day on Wednesday. It was my first time and I literally stayed from 8:15am until 8:15pm and also watched a lot of the auction and did the room to room just to soak it all in. Pretty damn cool if you ask me and I did come back with a couple of nice signs for my new collection. I had to wake up at 4:00am on Thursday to catch a flight back to Dallas but it was well worth it!
Vince
bmxpro1,with that devotion you will have a nice collection soon.
Great coverage of the show. I saw stuff in the photos I that I did not see being at this show for 2 1/2 days. It takes ALOT of time to get that many photos and post them. THANK YOU!

Hey, Mike. Thanks for setting up the Old Gas members photo, and for also reminding some of us it was time to take the shot. ALSO, my hat is off to you for doing the meet photography and the posting here for all to enjoy. THANK YOU, again. John
Thank you for your great service in posting the pictures. I have never been to Iowa gas. Saw several Texaco items that I liked. That Texaco always ahead sign is sure interesting. Saw a few Texaco Filling Station signs too and Texaco 8 ball signs and.........LOL. Thanks again
Anyone here have this small rusty topped shell sign for sale? I could probably afford that one and would like a chance to buy it if the price is right. See picture:
Also, please see the signs in the back of this pickup truck. Looks like a Conoco sign and a Texaco sign. Anyone have better pictures of these? I'm interested in them as well.
The shell was west coast version, they wanted 1400 ,not a bad price imo but it was still there Thursday,
Great pics, alot of stuff i didnt see, many thanks for you taking time for pics, and posting them.
Does anyone know who's booth this is ??? Thanks, Daniel
Yes it was the maxwell brothers.
Dollar says Dan is looking at the Texaco oil rack sign. LOL
Alex, You are RIGHT !!!! BUT just talked with Mark and he sold it at the show , still looking ********
Thanks for the pictures Mike.
Anyone have contact info for the vendor who had bulldog sign?
The bulldog sign was clifton jones i believe. 512 413-4459
The bull dog sign was $9000
Ron Hoyt had the black Pennzoil sign
Thanks for the pics know its a lot of effort to post!
I wasn't going to ask but it seems simple now. If the Clifton Jones had the bulldog the armstrong tires rhino sign was also his to the side of his easy up?
2 guys bring stuff to sell in that area clifton and another man not sure his name so it could be his.
