Announcement: More and more I hear collectors including myself that are fed up with E-Bay. For the first time in my 53 years I am unemployed, so I thought why not try and start a business doing something I love to do. I have built a web site for collectors and I will make any changes my customers suggest that make sense to all. For the first 30 days all listings will be FREE. After your first 30 days the fees will be 1/2 of E-bay. I hope you all will give it a try and let me know what you think. Please visit www.signofthepast.com

Thank you, everyone so far that has signed up and also provided suggestions. The founder of E-bay's name is Pierre Omidyar and Echo Bay was the name of his consulting firm. The name Echo Bay.com was already being used hence E-Bay. He started E-Bay by trying to sell a broken laser pointer on his web site and someone bought it. I am a Petroliana Collector myself and I really love the hobby.I am determined to make this the best site possible for collectors. As the days and weeks go on you will see better graphics on the site along with improvements that you have suggested.

I build custom crates for all the signs I sell so they arrive in good shape. If you are interested in anything in particular let me know I will work with you. I also had to put a lot of my own signs up that I didn't want to sell to get the site populated. Please try and list some items.
Thank you,
