What did a 10 inch come on?
Posted By: Dave Richey Re: 10 inch SSP Round Texaco - Sun May 11 2014 12:01 AM
Rick Pease's book says lubester. The example he shows only has 2 rivets.

Yes, it is dated 1-39.

EDITED TO CLARIFY THE QUESTION BEING ANSWERED.

So are you saying It's now a 8" ? seems like that's what your agreeing to in Franks post.... just want to be clear on what it is.
Posted By: gaspumpfrank Re: 10 inch SSP Round Texaco - Sun May 11 2014 01:15 AM
I thought 15" was lubester.

SORRY, a post must have happened while I was answering the date question. Someone felt the need to post their opinion of my ability to read a tape measure, I guess.

IT IS A 10" DATED 1-39.

I was just asking what a 10 inch was used on. I have a smaller one that was used on a lubester and a 15 inch that was used on a double cart. Curious what a 10 inch was used on.

The only Texaco Book I have is Rick Pease's and he says 10" is used on a lubester. His example has only two rivets. I sold the twin to this some time back to a fellow OG member. They came out of the attic of a Texaco station in Hattiesburg, MS sometime in the 70's.
