I was in need of a few curb sign bases so I hooked up with Ron Scobie and made some 17" round Plain Cast Iron bases. The bases were put on a mill table and then threaded for 1 1/4" pipe.

I have sold a few to members on Old-Gas but still have a number of them left that I will be bringing to Iowa Gas. All have been primed flat black. Cost is $165 each or $300 for a pair.
