Original pump plates and strips. Standard base.
$3000 firm
Cool piece, I have a similar pump.
That's a very fair price to Alan!
Figures posted the day after I already spent a bunch of money!
Wow! That is very nice!! And there is nothing like a pump with original signage!!
Out of curiosity sake, how much would that "Blue Sunoco" pump go for if you wanted to sell it? (That herns posted) Does a pump manufacturer make a difference on the price? Thanks for the info.
What a beauty!
Quit tempting me to spend some money Alan.
Different tops. Different bases. Standard Oil base on Script top pump. Script top is , I believe, a Wayne 80. Regular base on high top with large curved ad-glass panel. High top is, I believe, M&S 80. What strips are original? Are they from Sunoco or Wayne? Are they down the middle of pump? Thanks, Dan.
Dan I guess I don't understand what your asking.
I bought this pump the way it is. The pump plates are not repop and the porcelain strips above and below the pump plates a not repop. So I have this for sell for $3000 as is. The rest is what ever the man bolted together to make a good looking pump.
Hi Alan. I was wondering if strips where a Sunoco
add on or Wayne? I have same pump with original top and signs. Would love to find strips!! Thank you for answering. Dan
The strips (ribbons) are Sunoco. Not made by Sunoco of course. But put on pumps built to Sunoco specs. Hopefully someone here can clarify. Are they supplied to the station and installed by the station owner or does Wayen/MS install them to Sunoco specs prior to delivery of pumps?
Very hard to find in good shape. The come up now and then but often chipped around holes or tips.
Not sure if anyone repops them.
Is that an original top or a repop? Original is metal (magnet will stick) and all repops that I know of are fiberglass (magnet will not stick).
