I think that is a compliment and not a slur on the pump. I heard my kids say that something was sick and they explained that it meant it was cool.

Like Dave said, 'Sick' is a slang term for 'very very cool.'
Maybe on a forum with people aged 9 to 99, we should stick to normal words. But in his defense, he didn't mean it as a negative comment.
