I finally made a trade for this oil rack. Has anyone seen another one like it? Made by Eagle Sheet Metal Mfg Co. Chicago Ill. I picked up a porcelain flange sign for one a few years ago and was not sure how or where it was used. DB clued me in that it was for a Union 76 oil rack. He thought there was one in a collection in Oregon. I am not sure if the color scheme is correct. j

have & seen the porcelain sign but never a oil rack like that, were the 76 shields at base of rack added or come with it?.. ...

looks good i have the same rack---but it not for oil--something about cleaning products display-the holes behind the sign were to put brooms in there

does yours have the union shields at the base?.. ...

Tulareone- Thanks for solving the mystery. That explains why it had 76 and not TRITON OIL etc. It is also extra tall and has the broom holes. Do you have a picture of yours to share?

The guy I got it from was storing spare toilet paper on it outside the bathroom doors in his man cave as a joke. He was not far off on its real function.
