Hello Everyone!

Thank you for such a great and informative month last month for the pump of the month. This month I am choosing a very unique pump. A G&B 89. These pumps have really nice art deco design, made one year only, and are really big and heavy!!

-G&B 89: 1937. Computer (computing) or clockface was offered.

I hope we can see some sweet pictures of these pumps this month. Thank you everyone and happy May!

The 89 is not a common pump, hopefully we get some posts. Here is mine. I did a rustoration on it. It is done in the TW (Tidewater) version. There were two versions that were available in clock or computer. The first version has a two ad glass top with globe holder. The second version was made for Tidewater. It has a no ad glass top, shoebox globe holder and vertical trim moldings.

Here's mine, sorry I can't get a head on because where the pump is placed in my shop. I'll try to get a better shot this weekend.

This is a great pump. I am glad it is getting featured. Here is my Canadian made version. I haven't turned on the light in years so it was nice to see that it still works. However it does remind me that I still need a couple of original Shell ad glasses for it. Well maybe one day I will find them. This one of four pumps that I am planning to move out of the house and into the garage so all my pumps, restored and unrestored, can be together. Cheers, Don.

This One was on ebay years ago. It was missing the back door. If I remember right they had one made but it had no bezel, access door or louver stamped at the bottom.
