I like signs with some chips and wear to them but sometimes they have too much "character". This was one of them. I did some brush touch up to make it look better. I left some chipping to keep the worn look. A future owner can easily remove the paint, leave it as is or have it restored. What do you think? What would you do if it was yours?

what you did is definitely an improvement, a little bit of touch up
makes a big difference without disturbing its original state .. ... cool

Matt, Nice work. That sign still retains its character, but is a lot more viewable.
