Scott, here is an ice scraper from my Uncle Ralph's Gas-a-mat he operated in the early to mid 70's in Greeley, Colorado and a few years in Commerce City, Colorado. I would be interested in buying any items with Van Pelt stamped on them and a Gas-a-mat globe.
Thanks for posting this.

Scott,
Your COTW feature has been a favorite of mine even though I rarely have anything to contribute from my collection. I'll be sad to see COTW come to an end. COTW has been the inspiration for some special features we're going to do in the future. More on those later. Thank you for all the work you put into this feature and others. I know it's a lot of work.
Bob

Here is a coin token from a gas station in Los Angeles. {Actually San Fernando Valley)
I love the station depicted on the coin, with the river rock pillars, and lower facade. Note the old pump at the end of the island. Good for 5cents towards merchandise. Very cool.

There were all types of coins. some for coin operated pumps. some for anniverarys, some for a % off a gallon. here is 20 from seaside near mint they had made for their 50 years in 1948, I have others from the early gas company portion= Grade for a 1/2 cent off.

Don't have any ice scrapers out here, never locked anything and we never gave away coins. Ha Ha. Nice thread but nothing to show. Keep up the hard work Scott. Ted

Supposed to snow here tonight. I might have to use this ice scraper to get the snow off of my vehicle. LOL
