Hey Ted,
Since you have your signal sign all cleaned up I think we should trade ???
Larry
Great buys Ted,
Nice eye candy. I realy like that Signal sign. I have the same Richfield sign which I bought in it's original wood frame. I ended up trashing the wood frame , too rotten and heavy. Those signs should display very well!
Rob
Ted, I especially like the slow children sign...you got to Turlock Bob before I did on that one! My next door neighbor runs a day care..that sign would be perfect by the entrance to the day care. Wonder if the parent's would like it...or if they'd even get it!!!!
My last weeks haul with Ted and the boys.
Okay, I know what they say about guys who buy large signs. These are the grand total of my entire sign collection. Since these are not very desirable and they are mine, I will perform some paint match and touchup on them and maybe even a clearcoat. AAAAAHHHHGGGG, the sacrilege of it all. Also there is a photo of a recent addition to my A-1 addiction. Bought it from one the nicest guys in the hobby in Modesto CA.
For those who think everything on the west coast is dried up. A former collector near ontario CA sold 4 national a-38's, 3 wayne 70's, 2 wayne 60's, 4 bennett 541's, clockface ?, tokheim 36B, and 4 bowser 575's, and others out of long time storage last week. The pumps were much cleaner than commonly found now and many still had glass in them. Killer pumps at wholesale prices. Had a great time and thank all of you for your help and advice on the signs.
Larry
Posting Larry's haul, he did real good, for a first time sign buyer. great start. and a great A-1 pump. KILLER.

I think there's another sign maniac on the loose! Welcome to the club! You might want to look into sign buyers anonymous before this gets out of hand!!!!
Youre right Tom it is addictive ! The little oil can banks are worse, everytime I see one i want it. I had to start getting some things I can enjoy now, I already have more pumps than I have years left to do them. As soon as I posted pictures of my signs, I started getting spam mail about anatomical enlargement.
Larry
Hey Tom the slow children is in my shop at the college for the GM guys. Larry you need to add some fine quart cans to your collecting bug. Goes great with signs. Rex, I did fill some holes in my collection but now have holes in my pockets from draining them. But what is it all about. Big boys expensive toys. Thanks for all the great comments. Oh yeah good seein you too Dwaine.
Ted
Good one about the GM guys, Ted! The Fomoco & Mopar guys aren't far behind. Is there a sign that reads "not quite as slow children"? Not to mention the guys that butcher up the rice burners. Did see a neat sign on a Bimmer on the way home from Fred's. It said "feed it 'kraut, not rice".
