Well, in addition to the Tokheim 300 and lubester from yesterday and the wayne 70 on ebay last night, I score again today.
Today I bought ANOTHER pump, a tall Tokheim 39-VP. I got that and a bunch of old cans.
I will try to post pics tomorrow, I had to stash the pump at my shop... now I am afraid of the wife! I will bring it home and try to camo it with the rest of the pumps tomorrow when she is gone.
When it rains it pours...

The way that trailer was jumpin' around I thought for sure I would loose some of those pumps!
Dodo, that is what I figured, I have a couple tall 39's now, she won't notice another one! I'll tell her later, not in the mood to get yelled at right now, this weekend maybe.
I don't know what is going on, there are 2-3 other pumps I might go look at too. This is crazy. You gotta strike while the iron is hot though. If they are selling, I am buying!

WOW, I will be moving down your way this weekend. You have more pumps left down there than we do up here in Seattle. I think Hubba has all of these...
Great finds, keep looking.
Good Luck
Don

We don't have much down here, I just hit a couple lucky scores this week. One thing led to another...
Here is the Tokheim 39-VP I got yesterday.
I also made the guy throw in all these oil cans, don't know if they are worth anything. They are all full and in good shape, just dirty. Anyone know what they are worth?

Jeff - those Castrols with the motorcycle pic sometimes bring 10 bucks a piece on Ebay. Pennzoil only a couple bucks.

Hubba saying thumbs up WaterKing on your pump scores.

elvis your rockin right along! that pump looks good! youve got some good stuff now. im jealous of seein those RUST FREE pumps. rust city here. sometimes i get a really nice nozzle that has 3000 hack marks on it where someone chipped the ice off with some piece of scrap iron just to use it.- what are you gonna do with all these pumps now? youll be restoring pumps like a mad man. my advice to you is put a few aside you really want. sell the rest & go get the certain ones that really turn your crank. thats what i did. unless youve got what you want. another guy i know trades 2or3 pumps for wayne 60s or clock faces all the time. or he sells & goes on a search for some certain pump he has to have. well thats my advice to you.

Jeff, Great score! I like the tall ones. Some time I will share some stories with you about those pumps. I scored a 39vp with four add glass openings over in Ludlow Ca. a few years ago for free. It was laying face down next to a burned building. The owner said please haul it away along with the other pumps and oil cabinet on the other property that he owned. I gave him a 50.00 bill and thanked him. He then took me to a third property and opened the shed to show me about ten more pumps. Too bad they were the stainless steel T-Pumps from the seventies. I ended up just taking the others. A story to think about the next time you drive the I-40 to Laughlin and pass Ludlow. Keep up the good work and enjoy those pumps! Rob
