Just got a new pump, we finished unloading just before dark so the picture is less than perfect, and there are a few pieces still to bolt on, but I thought I'd share it. Its a Clear Vision 20 Gallon Twin, quite rare and desireable, I've only had one other in the last 10 years. Canadian Clear vision pumps are also the only pumps that use 12-5/8" diameter cylinders, and twin pumps have etched gallon markes on 3 sides instead of two, so getting a pump with original and proper glass can be a real chore. I will get some clockfaces onto pump of the month sometime soon Ethan, I won't leave you hanging buddy.

Lance's new pump just reminded me of a petro story, so I'll share.
In 1987 my wife and I bought a new motorhome, and decided to go on a buying trip. We took the motor home, towing a 20' enclosed trailer, and went up the West Coast into Canada, and then took route 1 (I believe) across the bottom of Canada. When we got into Winnipeg, I had a phone number for the Krasy brothers (everyone calls the the Krazy brothers) and I called them looking for a double visible pump. I was told that they'd look around, and I let them know that I'd be staying at a KOA campground that night. About 8pm a knock on the motor home door, and two street thug looking guys are standing there with big ol' smiles on their faces. "You still want a double pump" they said, and off we went into the night. We drove several miles into the back roads, ending up at a farm. Inside the barn, in the corner was a dissasembled twin. We worked out a price, put it into the truck, and off loaded it into my trailer. Done Deal. I still have to laugh at how that happened and those Krazy brothers. As a side note, when we were leaving Canada at Niagra Falls, the Border guard wanted to know what was in my trailer. Jokeingly I told him "oh, that's where my wife keeps all her clothes" ! Apparently he didn't think it was too funny. I had to open the trailer, so he could completely go through it. Like I said earlier, my motto has always been "any excuse to travel"!

Cool story Don, you don't want to mess with those guys at the border. I came back from Portland with a trailer load of Pumps, including a Roman Column Wayne that was in a crate. I didn't have any receipts, and it was an 8-5 border crossing, it was 4:55 and the traffic was piling up, but the guy still found time to explain that they could seize all my goods including the motor home, fine me double the amount of the taxes due on the appraised value of the goods I bought, and then allow me to buy it all back, including the motor home at public auction. I think he was trying to tell me something, now I always have my receipts.

Heres a mock up of the scheme I'm going to use, I'm working on a Polarine globe with the Polar Bear, so I thought a real Arctic White & Red with matching globes would look pretty good.
good looking pump lance. Looks like esso eh did you have to go far to get it. Looks like you need a few handles. Hey since you are on doubles do you have a picture of a bowser double i am sure that we have not all seen one of those.

There were many Canadian Companies that made twin visibles, including Vulcanizer, Philip Geiss and of course Clear Vison. But Wayne, Bowser, Gilbert & Barker among others also made these giants, here are some samples of a few. The Square Body Bowser is a real favorite, but watch out, several of these were repopped a couple years ago and have slipped into the US without being identified, most of them have no internal workings, so buyer beware. One of the most impressive Twins ever built, is a 6 sided Wayne 777 with a solid cast top over both cylinders, I'll see if I can find a picture of one.

way to go lance nice pictures. Just to add little something to the repoed bowser they are made of cast iron (the castings) just like the origional so you really do have to be aware. I think that the guy did about 50
